LC Fiber Pigtails
Fiber pigtail refers to a length of 0.9mm, 2.0mm or even 3.0mm outer diameter indoor fiber optic cable, pre-terminated with a fiber optic connector at one end, and left blank at the other end to do inter-fiber fusion connection of an optical communication cable. The LC pigtail is a length of indoor fiber optic cable in one end pre-terminated LC fiber connector, the other end is left empty for fusion passive signal connection harness. In the single-mode transmission band, LC pigtail will generally use single-mode G65D or G657 fiber made of optical cable to pre-terminate blue shell LCUPC connector or green shell LCAPC connector supporting the use. When used in multimode transmission band, LC pigtails are generally made of OM3 or OM4 multimode fiber to pre-terminate beige or aqua green LCUPC end connectors to match.
LC pigtails are often deployed in server rooms, data centers, or distribution hubs where space is intensive and used to extend the signal from the access segment to the equipment end. each LC pigtail manufactured by Bonelinks is rigorously tested and the test data is labeled on the bag of each patch cord so that the dB impact of each splice node on the entire link can be evaluated during construction.
