SC Fiber Pigtails Single Mode Multimode APC UPC

SC fiber pigtails are designed to provide a stable and reliable connection between fiber optic cables and networking equipment. They consist of a high-quality optical fiber with an SC connector pre-installed on one end, and a bare fiber end on the other that can be spliced or terminated to connect to other optical components.

SC Fiber Pigtails are an essential component in a wide range of applications, including telecommunications, data centers, and local area networks. They play a crucial role in ensuring high-speed, secure, and reliable data transmission, making them a trusted and dependable choice for network builders and installers.

Enhance Networks with Reliable SC Fiber Pigtails

Combining robust composite hardware with high-quality zirconia ferrules, these SC pigtails deliver the optical performance, durability, and repeatability essential for contemporary network applications. The default configuration of this SC pigtail includes a standard 900Ī¼m tight-buffered cable. The SC pigtail cable connector, designed as a non-optical disconnect connector, is equipped with a 2.5mm pre-radiused zirconia or stainless alloy ferrule.

SC Fiber Pigtail Features

  • Easy to install: The pre-attached connector on the SC fiber pigtail makes it easy to install and connect to other devices without requiring additional tools or equipment, and ensures a secure and reliable connection.
  • Versatility: SC fiber pigtails are available in both single-mode and multimode fiber types, with various core diameters to accommodate different applications.
  • Durability: SC fiber pigtails are made from high-quality materials that are designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, such as temperature fluctuations and physical stress.
  • Low signal loss: SC fiber pigtails are designed to minimize signal loss during data transmission, ensuring that signal quality is maintained over long distances.

SC Fiber Pigtail Applications

Fiber optic pigtails are widely employed for splicing fibers within cables, enabling their connection to patch panels or equipment. They are especially well-suited for applications involving enclosures and splice cabinets. They are ideal for quick patching of cables into rack or wall mounts due to their push-pull design.
