OM3 8 Cores MPO to LC Fiber Patch Cords

Patchcord MPO to LC is a passive communication branch cable designed and manufactured intensively to connect QSFP or SFP modules in data center rooms.

Usually, MPO to LC patch cable consists of MPO connector, 3.0mmOD mini multi-core fiber optic cable, branch sleeve and LC connector. The production process, first, according to the number of ports to be linked and the length of use, choose to cut different cores of fiber optic cable; then extract a certain length of fiber cores in the cable, peel off the coating layer and cladding layer, inserted into the assembled MPO connector in order, and then through curing, grinding, light to complete the installation of the MPO connector end. At the other end of the cable, a certain length of fiber core is also extracted from the cable and plugged into the branch sleeve, then the same outer diameter of the cable sleeve and aramid yarn is inserted into the branch and fixed to form a protective layer for the bare fiber, and then the LC connectors are being pre-terminated, and the whole branch cable jumper can be produced.

After the whole patch cable is assembled and produced, the end face of the connector needs to be tested to see if it is clean, if all channels can transmit signals through the light, and if the attenuation value meets the required standards. The complete test report will be affixed to the bag of each patch cord one by one to show Bonelinks’ quality assurance for each patch cord.
