OM3 8 Cores MPO to LC Fiber Patch Cords

OM3 MPO to LC fiber patch cords are high-quality fiber optic cables that are designed to provide reliable, high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. These cables are constructed with high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing techniques to ensure optimal performance and durability.

The MPO connector features multiple fibers in a single, compact interface, while the LC connector is a small form factor connector that is commonly used in high-density network applications. These patch cords are designed to connect MPO and LC interfaces, making them ideal for use in data centers, telecommunications networks, and other high-speed networking applications.

The OM3 designation indicates that these patch cords are optimized for use with 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks and support data transmission rates of up to 10 Gbps over distances of up to 300 meters. They are also backwards-compatible with 1 Gigabit Ethernet networks, making them a versatile and reliable solution for a wide range of network applications.

If you are looking for high-quality, reliable, and high-performance fiber optic patch cords for your network, OM3 MPO to LC fiber patch cords are an excellent choice. They are designed and built to meet the needs of modern high-speed networks and provide a trustworthy and authoritative solution for your networking needs.

The MPO to LC patch cord is an essential passive communication cable used to connect QSFP or SFP modules in data center rooms. It consists of an MPO connector, 3.0mmOD mini multi-core fiber optic cable, a branch sleeve, and an LC connector. During the production process, different cores of fiber optic cable are cut based on the required number of ports and length. The coating and cladding layers are then peeled off, and a certain length of fiber cores are extracted and inserted into the assembled MPO connector, which is cured, ground, and tested for light to complete the installation of the MPO connector end. At the other end of the cable, a certain length of fiber core is also extracted and plugged into the branch sleeve. The same outer diameter of the cable sleeve and aramid yarn is inserted into the branch and fixed to form a protective layer for the bare fiber. The LC connectors are pre-terminated, and the whole branch cable jumper is produced. After assembly and production, the end face of the connector is tested to ensure it is clean and that all channels can transmit signals through the light with the required attenuation value. A complete test report is affixed to the bag of each patch cord to show Bonelinks’ quality assurance for each patch cord.
