High-Density MPO to LC 12 Fiber 9/125 Single Mode OS2 Breakout Cable: Reliable Fiber Connection

The MPO to LC 12 Fiber 9/125 Single Mode OS2 Breakout Cable utilizes single mode 9/125 fiber with a yellow LSZH/OFNP/OFNR jacket. The fanout side is equipped with 12 LC/UPC simplex connectors or 6 LC/UPC duplex connectors, numbered based on the corresponding fiber position in the MPO connector. These breakout cables are ideal for converting standard fiber networks into high-density MPO networks when space is limited.

Primarily used for direct connections between transceivers or patch panels with LC ports and MPO backbone/trunks, these breakout cables allow networking administrators to run a single MPO trunk assembly from multiple SFP+ transceivers, minimizing insertion loss associated with multiple connectors. They also facilitate the migration from 10G to 40G transmission rates.

Using OS2 single mode fiber, you can transmit data up to 10,000 meters at 1Gbps (1310nm). For a 10Gbps link, distances of up to 5,000 meters at 1310nm or up to 30,000 meters at 1550nm are achievable.

The MTPĀ® connector is available upon request. Each MPO to LC Breakout Cable offers customizable pinned (male) or non-pinned (female) connectors to ensure networking compatibility. Cable lengths can be tailored to specific requirements. Every breakout cable undergoes comprehensive testing and is made with ruggedized components for durability and reliability.
