The 24 Fiber OS2 MPO Trunk Cable is a factory pre-terminated solution designed for limited space cabling requirements. It features premium single mode MPO-24 female connectors and utilizes an optical cable for optimal performance. The MPO-24 connector, comparable in size to an SC connector, offers up to 24 times the density, delivering significant space and cost savings. In addition to consistent user quality, this cable enables faster installation and simplified cable management.

Typically used for establishing high-performing backend trunk connections between fiber patch panels and other networking devices, the 24 Fiber MPO Cables excel in various applications. They support 100G links (CXP-100G-SR10) between two CXP transceivers or multiple 10G links (10x10GBASE-SR) from SFP+ transceivers to a single 100G transceiver, efficiently handling traffic demands.

With Singlemode OS2 fiber optics, this cable ensures reliable data transmissions. Over a 1Gbps link, the 9/125 micron glass fiber allows distances of up to 10,000 meters at 1310nm wavelength. For a 10Gbps link, data can be transferred up to 5,000 meters at 1310nm and up to 30,000 meters at 1550nm.

The 24 Fiber OS2 MPO Trunk Cable comes with a choice of LSZH, OFNR, or OFNP jackets to suit specific requirements. Optional MTP® connectors, custom lengths, and polarity configurations offer flexibility and compatibility for diverse networking needs.
