High-Density 12 Fiber OS2 MPO Trunk Cable: Efficient Connectivity

The 12 Fiber OS2 MPO Trunk Cable is a factory pre-terminated 12-fiber single mode MPO patch cord designed for limited space cabling requirements. It features high-performance MPO-12 female connectors and an optical cable that ensures optimal functionality and reliability. The MPO-12 connector, although similar in size to an SC connector, offers up to 12 times the density, resulting in significant space and cost savings.

The MPO-12 configuration also supports MPO-8 fiber systems, making this 12 Fiber MPO Trunk Cable suitable for 8-fiber parallel single mode optical transceiver applications, including 40G QSFP+ PLR4, 100G QSFP28 PSM4, 400G OSFP DR4/XDR4, and 400G QSFP-DD DR4/XDR4 links.

Utilizing Singlemode OS2 fiber optics, this cable allows for efficient data transmission. Over a 1Gbps link, it can transmit data up to a distance of 10,000 meters at a wavelength of 1310nm using a 9/125 micron glass fiber. For a 10Gbps link, data can be transferred up to 5,000 meters at 1310nm or up to 30,000 meters at 1550nm.

The 12 Fiber OS2 MPO Trunk Cable comes with an LSZH, OFNR, or OFNP jacket, providing options to suit your specific requirements. Optional MTP® connectors, custom lengths, and polarity configurations are also available, ensuring flexibility and compatibility for your networking needs.
