1. What is ODF Optical Distribution Frame?

3. Features of ODF Optical Distribution Frame

  • Optical fiber distribution frame (ODF) and its optical fiber distribution box (unit box) adopt 19″ international standard installation interface;
  • Fully enclosed cabinet structure, good dust resistance, physical protection of optical cable ends, and wiring to avoid accidental damage.

  • The protection function of optical fiber core and pigtail. After the optical cable is opened and stripped, the fiber core has a protection device, and after fixing, the introduced optical fiber has a termination device.
  • Storage function. It provides storage for various cross-connected optical cables between racks, so that they can be placed regularly and neatly. There should be appropriate space and method in the optical fiber distribution frame, so that the wiring of this part of the optical connection line is clear, easy to adjust, and can meet the requirements of the minimum bending radius.
  • Identification record function. The racks and units should have complete identification and recording devices for easy identification of the fiber core serial number or transmission path sequence, and the recording devices should be easy to modify and replace.
