Fiber optic patch panels are passive metal communication devices installed in data center cabinets or racks for intensive fusion splicing of incoming or outgoing sections of fiber optic cable and easy management of each channel’s signal transmission. In order to match the common rated size of the cabinet or rack installation, the fiber optic patch panel is 19 inches in length and is usually available in 1U, 2U and 3U heights according to the number of different access splice cores. For ease of installation and management, fiber optic patch panels are available in simple, easy-to-use sliding rail pullout and fixed, non-rail pullout designs. All patch panels are made of 1.0mm to 1.2mm cold-rolled steel plate with one-piece cut and punched holes, and are then coated with anti-static coating to maximize the product life and performance, and can be customized with different cores of SC, FC, LC, ST adapters to connect nodes and logos.
