Microduct Cables: Compact Optical Cable Designed to be Used as Part of the Microduct System
Microduct is often used to divide larger conduits into smaller conduits. It provide multiple ducts in one structure for future expansion of networks. Microduct cables are developed as a solution to house fiber cables that were smaller in size, but still carried significant capacity. They can be used for overriding existing conduits and networks, which reduce network disruption and expensive excavation costs and permits during installation. Available with fiber counts from 2 to 288 fibers.
Microduct Fiber Optic Cable Feature
- Utilize space in an occupied duct. The high-density packing provides a solution to maximize the utilization of the existing duct
- Substantially reduce construction costs & deployment time
- Small outer diameter, lightweight, low friction sheath material
Microduct Fiber Optic Cable Application
The microduct cables are designed for microduct applications and needs from backbone networks to FTTx.
Microduct Fiber Optic Cable Protection
UV resistance; High-temperature resistance; Moisture proof
