Application
Duct; Aerial
GYFXY, as a central tube non-metallic armored fiber optic cable, is able to bear its own weight in overhead suspension by 2 internal parallel FRP reinforcement keys, and is often laid overhead in short-distance network access section and transmission section applications. As the cable is designed with single loose tube structure, the minimum number of fibers is 2 and the maximum number of cores is 24. Since GYFXY central tube armored fiber optic cable has 2 parallel FRP reinforcement bonds instead of steel wire reinforcement bonds and no metal armor to strengthen its own structure, it is often connected to FTTH, FTTP, FTTx overhead access sections.
GYFXY non-metallic armored fiber optic cable is mainly composed of fiber, water barrier, reinforcement bond and loose tube. First, the colored fiber is placed in the loose sleeve filled with lubricating fiber paste, then wrapped with water barrier to prevent moisture and water, then two fiber reinforced plastics are placed on both sides of the loose sleeve, and finally the PE sheath is pulled out of the molded fiber optic cable by melting the polyethylene material through the equipment.
